To me, orthodontics has always been more than just about teeth. As specialists in this field we truly get the opportunity to positively impact the lives of so many people. There is nothing more regarding to me than being part of my patients' transformation to a more confident and happy version of themselves. Your smile, my passion!
I was born and raised in southern Mexico. I moved to the United States with my family when I was 15 years old. I was the first of my family to pursue higher education by attending the University of Washington on a full academic scholarship where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a certificate in management. For my Doctor of Dental Surgery I attended the University of California, San Francisco's Dental School where I was awarded the prestigious Dean's Opportunity scholarship, given to only two members of each entering class. Following dental school graduation, I attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where I completed my Masters Degree in oral biology and a certificate in orthodontics.
I am extremely grateful to be back in the west coast and working in Los Angeles. On my spare time I enjoy staying active by doing work out classes and going to the gym. I also enjoy exploring this city's unique culture and dining scene. As an advocate for the outdoors, I also spend my free time exploring all the beautiful nature that California was to offer all along the coast.
