Melineh Dereghishian, DDS, MBA
I believe I have one of the best jobs ever. I get to work with very talented assistants, meet new patients every day, and watch smiles transform. It is also rewarding to see patients excited when braces are removed, and they witness their new smile for the first time.
Born and raised in Southern California, I attended my dream school, UCLA, for both my undergraduate and graduate studies. I received highest honors and magna cum laude recognition for my Bachelor of Science in biology, and later pursued a Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
I moved to Las Vegas for a three-year orthodontic specialty residency program, and completed a Master of Business Administration. I practiced as a general dentist while completing my schooling.
I decided to return to my roots in Southern California. I enjoy the diverse population Los Angeles has to offer. I love learning from people with different backgrounds and trying foods from various cultures. I was privileged to become involved with Latin American communities during dental school by organizing health fairs and oral cancer screenings.
My husband is also an orthodontist, and we live in my hometown of Los Angeles. We like to travel and take road trips on the weekends. I also enjoy participating in group exercise classes.
As an orthodontist, I treat the individual rather than just the misaligned teeth. I like to listen to the needs of my patients, and customize my treatment for them. My goal is to make orthodontics as enjoyable and fun for my patients as it is for me!
