Grace Hur, DDS, MS
The profession means to me a world of experience worth more than thousands of books. Working with so many unique individuals every day, I get to learn empathy, courage, will, dedication, and much more. This pushes me to be a better person, which I hope I can reciprocate for my patients.
What I love most about my job are the relationships I build with my patients and their parents. I love noticing patients gain confidence not only in their smiles but also in general, and seeing most of the children outgrow me by the time treatment is done. The patients come from such various backgrounds and cultures, that I learn much from every single one of them.
I grew up in Virginia and New York, and attended New York University for my Bachelor of Arts. I studied at Columbia University for both my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Master of Science. I am a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Board of Orthodontics, and American Dental Association.
I live in Orange County with my husband and two children, Irene and Ian. During my free time, I love traveling and trying great restaurants with my family.
I also love helping my husband with his start-up. He arranges personalized shopping service for furniture, and I share his passion in providing an amazing shopping experience at an affordable price. I try to be active in the community so that I can be of service to anyone that I can help. I recently moved across the country, but am looking for opportunities to be involved in the local community programs.
